Mariam Vargas Rodríguez
Mariam has a degree in Administration of Plans, Programs and Projects in Non-Formal Education, studied Psychology and Business Administration at the University of Costa Rica, has a Diploma in Project Management and Human Resource Administration, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Territorial Rural Development of the UNQ Argentina in which she was awarded a CLACSO scholarship to study postgraduate studies abroad, admitted to the postgraduate course in Rural Development of the National University of Costa Rica. He also holds a master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Costa Rica.
She is the Coordinator of Development and Communications. Mariam is in charge of generating strategic alliances with different organizations to carry out joint work, generating new programs and projects of social and environmental impact, through agreements, financing and international cooperation. It makes visible the organization at a national and international level through social networks, editorial design of newsletters and audiovisual media. Implements projects for the benefit of the participants and the community in order to strengthen internal and external links Performs the search, design and execution of activities for fundraising and resources, coordinate training plan and internal and external training, their respective call and supervision of dependents.
She collaborates with us to find, motivate and follow up the volunteers and interns in the association, designing, planning, developing and systematizing business models for Arbol de Esperanza, in order to promote the internal and external development of the participants, the organization, the staff and the community.
She has experience in working with NGOs, entreprenurs, in sociocutural management, human resources, research, systematization of experiences, design of audio / visual / written products, community articulation, migration and cross-border population, social psychology, administrative area, education, public politicies and in project management.
Areas of interest: Gender, Feminism, Territory, Migration, Development, Human Rights, Social Representations, Participatory Action Research, Critical Pedagogies, Public Policies, Culture, Human Resources and Social Inequality.
Among his hobbies are the production of audiovisuals, theater, film, music, piano, photography, the beach and dogs.
Recognitions: Graduation of Honor and Distinction in research, national and international recognition to outstanding social projects, award with scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies abroad, distinction by NGOs and social groups. Award of two projects of Social Action Student Initiatives of the University of Costa Rica. Recognition as a sociocultural manager in the organization of mass events and activities.
